Notification of Infringement

SnapFBVideo respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we have established the following process for reporting alleged copyright infringement on our platform.

IMPORTANT: SnapFBVideo is a technical tool that extracts media from external URLs. We do NOT host or store any user-generated content or video files on our servers. All media is streamed or downloaded directly from the source platform's servers (e.g., Meta/Facebook CDN).

Because we do not host content, we cannot "take down" a video from the internet. A DMCA notice sent to us will only result in the blocking of that specific URL from being processed by our extraction engine. To remove a video permanently, you must contact the platform where the video is hosted.

DMCA Notice Requirements

If you believe your copyrighted work is being accessed through our tool in a way that constitutes infringement, please provide our Copyright Agent with a written notice containing:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  • Identification of the specific URL processed through our tool that is claimed to be infringing.
  • Your full contact information (address, phone number, and email address).
  • A statement of 'good faith belief' that the use of the material is not authorized by the owner or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate.
