Quality standards

Site Standards

This page explains the standards we use to keep SnapFBVideo useful, readable, and honest. It is a simple internal quality bar for the tool pages, blog posts, and supporting content across the site.

Original contribution

We pair tools with our own support copy, FAQs, workflow notes, and blog guides instead of relying on generic filler or copied platform text.

Clear limitations

Pages should explain what they handle well, what commonly fails, and why a public-link downloader cannot solve every access problem.

Navigation and discoverability

Important sections should be reachable through normal site navigation so visitors can move between tools, legal pages, and support content without guessing.

Responsible use

The site should encourage lawful use, respect for creator rights, and realistic expectations around copyrighted or private media.

Ad clarity

Advertising should be labeled clearly, separated from navigation and download controls, and never presented as a tool result or recommendation.

Editorial checks we use

  • Avoid pages that exist only to target slight keyword variations with the same underlying content.
  • Avoid making technical, legal, or privacy claims that the current implementation cannot reasonably support.
  • Keep tool instructions specific to the platform instead of repeating the same paragraph on every route.
  • Update explanations when platform behavior changes, not only when search terms change.
  • Keep ad placements away from buttons, menus, and download actions so visitors can distinguish the main content from advertising.

What this means for tool pages

A platform page should do more than present an input field. It should explain the current workflow, supported content types, common failure reasons, and the boundaries of the feature.

What this means for trust

We prefer plain language over inflated claims. If a feature is best-effort, we say so. If a platform is more reliable than another, we say that too.

The standards page works best alongside the practical support content and platform-specific guides.
